Have you got the 2Gb of space needed to install the patch?

It just tried to install to a memory address that it didn't have permission to. After rebooting, I would try again. Otherwise, an uninstall and reinstall won't hurt and should let you run the patch installer.

BTW, you do have the latest Windows Installer from WIndows Update, right?
