What do u recommend?

RIght now i have 2 sticks of 256 RAM. Should i get two more sticks of 256 or a stick of 1GB or 2 sticks of 512? Dell told me it would perform better with sticks of the same memory(256x4).

Off the bat I'd say 2×512MB or 2×1GB if your board supports it.
What board do you have?

i have 4 slots for memory im not sure wat my board is. Im atleast tryin to get atleast another 512.

I wish my local stores carried 1GB sticks. If you RAM isn't PC3200 right now then I would say get some 512s or 1Gigs.
