The <a href="http://rcmod.totalbf2.com/news.html" target="_blank">Red Crucible</a> mod website has been updated recently with two brand new renders of the T-80BV. Check out the awesome renders below:

This monster has some of the latest on board equipment, including the capability to fire anti tank missiles through it's 125mm gun tube! The T-80BV also has ERA (explosive reactive armor) mounted on the outer surfaces. Awesome! ony one question, how will the guy swing the turret a full 360 with those fuel tanks blocking the way ? :O

woot woot ! that looks awesome :) i guess raise the gun tube to counter the 360 rotation :rolleyes:

I don't think it will be able to swing 360, just like the DC T-72 tank, we'll see.
Also, the commander's MG is controled from inside the tank, user is not exposed to snipe fire. Thats how it is used in RL...

The skin (especially the green coloured parts) needs more "ooomph". A little basic, thus making it bland. Very nice model although.

We need to see it in the engine before we decide to add "ooomph" to it. What ever "ooomph" means. ;)

out of curiosity what's the tri count on that tank? Looks great btw.

It's 7k, but thats with evrything. Thats about the same polygon count as the Forgotten Hope panthers I made, and they work just fine in BF1942. So this number should be no problem for the BF2 engine. And this is one of our heavier vehicles.
