Can't join servers...

I've been playing retail battlefield 2 since about a month and a half after launch, and now when I try to join servers it tells me I have modified content and cannot join. Before everyone accuses me of using No-CD cracks, or any kind of DLL hook or hack, you may as well hold your breath. My game is as modified as it was on installation (which is not at all) and now I can't join any servers. Any solutions for this?

What is the message you get? is it "This server only allows players with unmodified content to join"?

Are you patched to version 1.02? This will bring your BF2 Client version to v.1.1.2484.0.
Are you trying to join servers that are of the same version?
It's also possible that your client.zip file may have been corrupted in which case a reinstall may be in order. :s

That's exactly what it says, and yes I'm patched to 1.02. Also, I've tried uninstalling, shift+deleting the battlefield 2 folder after uninstallation, shift+deleting the battlefield 2 folder in my documents, and reinstalling, but I still get it.

You have not put up your rig specs but it may help.

You need to "tick" the correct boxes in game (in options) to join servers that are of the same version as you.

Get it from EA's site, and that error means you need to patch yourself before you play a ranked server.

Aye, I have all the desired server filters ticked. It also gives me this message if I try to join via BF2 Autoloader or ASE.

You say you have 1.5 Gigs, so they are not matched RAM, plz elaborate more on the size and manufacturer of each stick then read the link i provided you with.
