Vet Knife Badge... Where Are You ???

Strange this, have gotten over 70 knife kills (after much effort) and already have basic badge... but have not yet got the veteran badge ? I had over 7 kills in 1 round once I had in excess of 50 but I've still not been awarded the badge...

Before anyone chips in, they were all ranked etc so I really don't understand why I haven't got it yet.

Anyone got any ideas ????

On bf2s.com on their fourom they said that some server are broke and do not send back the info about you were playing there. You will never se the vet pistol badge but try on a differnt server and hope you will get it.

I'll give it a go mate, but the stats from the kills etc have been sent back to BFHQ cos my stats have gotten the updates.

It's bizarre, but i'll keep plugging away !

It's 100 kills + seven in a round, not 50 as many places wrongly report.

No vet is silver and it is 50 kills total and i think it might be 13 kills in one round because when i got my silver knife badge it took not many more that 7 kills with it

Probably it either didn't update, or some lag in the games gave you the kill, but not the 'knife' kill. Anyway, I got both my vet knife, expert knife today. All you really need to do is go to a WELL ADMINed pistol and knives server. I went there just to see what they were like and I got the two medals.

last night ea stat servers were lagging...couldn't get my expert pistol badge after two qualifying rounds...finally got it after moving on to a different server....

it happens very frequently when you've met the requirement for the award but was not given...I can just imagine how one player can become frustrated if he killed 18 ppl with knife in one round, and didnt receive the badge because of that...

I never get very many knife kills on Strike at Karkand either.
got almost all of mine on Sharqi Peninsula

Don't use the knife until your right up on someone. Don't take main routes. Loop around when you have a chance. I do a lot of sniper hunts. Also helps when the other team is destracted by tank/helos firering on them.

Our server runs all the maps. Peninsula is a good map for knives. I got my expert there. Valley and Oman are good. Really any of the city maps are good. More places to hide the better you are.

I play mostly after 9 pm EST. Our server is in my sig. If you got a mic get on Vent and join up with me. Follow me around, learn some new tactics.

BTW, I used the knife most of the time in BF1942 and BFV. My old site is WWW.KNIFEKILL.COM. I have a ton of pics up there with my old clan tags. I've posted some BF2 pics on the MOJO site. www.mojoclan.net

If your 50 knife kills werent registered yet with the stats then it wont give u the badge unless it has registered the 50. happened to me.

once you hit the global requirement, u need to do the secondary requirement (the "per round" requirement) so u can trigger the award.

ya i have both veteran pistol and verteran knife i am at 236 pistol kills and 189 knife but still no Expert Knife. Yes I make the 14 in one round easy.

Thats 6 kills in every single minute you had a knife in your hand. Fair enough you only need it in your hand for a fraction...but your telling me that eXP.ElekTric dont know how to use a knife and cannot change from knife to weapon as quick as you......

Sigh.....Come to our server, join our vent. IP address is in my sig. If the server is full I will be happy to kick someone from the server to make room for you. Then you can see that there is no stat padding.

I make that offer to anyone that doesn't believe me. And just like everyone else that like to cry stat padder you won't join. It's easier for people to cry about stat padding then to actually join a server when offered.

I'm on after 9 PM EST. When you get on coms, mention your from TotalBF2 and I'll make room for you. Our 64 person server is pretty much full 24/7, SO PLEASE GET ON COMS!!!

I got my basic and veteran pistol badges at the same time. I only had 60-70 pistol kills when i got the 7 in a round. You are supposed to get expert pistol with 500 kills and 18 in a round (not 100 like a lot of places say), but i did not get mine until i had over 620 kills and 18 in a round. I was playing on the same server when i got 18 in a round numerous times. Then all of a sudden i got 18 and it gave it to me.
