I just finished raising the money for my PC. I raised around 800. Could you rate the the parts i picked out and make any suggestions.

AMD Athlon 3000+ VENICE
1 gig of dual channel RAM
Sapphire x800 xl PCI-E
Chaintech VNF4 ULTRA Zenith VE

I still have a little money left over since i dont need a moniter. I could either upgrade my 3000+ to the 3200+ or get 512mb more of RAM. Could you help me decide.images/smilies/smile.gif

It looks good but I would personally look toward a more mainstream motherboard maker than Chaintech. Perhaps ASUS or DFI... Remember that the system is only as good at the borad that connects it.

Oh yeah, you will also need a decent Power Supply if you haven't alrady gotten one.

I also echo the comment on the PSU. From experience I'll tell you don't skimp here!! As far as the upgrade, I'd go with the 3200 if you plane to OC. If not then the RAM.
