Does BF2 support the Athlon 64 X2 series.

I am working on my new rig:
Athlon 64 X2 3800
1 gig dual channel corsair low latency 2x512
nVidia 6800GT
Audigy 2 Zs


I was wondering if BF2 will run on the X2 series

yes it will work, if you install xp64 you will prolly have problems with the game, but if you install normal XP you will be ok.

It will certainly work on the CPU, but don't expect to get any huge performance benefit from having the two cores. BF2 is still single threaded, and will perform much like the equivelent GHz single core processor.
