Need help yet again

Ok...I have updated allll my drivers and I've updated my motherboard...I am running version 1.0.2442.0 and the majority of the servers say I have an older version. Also, all of the servers with my version that I try to join will say 'Joining Server' and then go back to the server select screen...anyone know how to help? Thanks

Huh that’s a new one. First of all for some reason it helps me sometimes if you go the community once you’re logged in and go to where it says the most recent patches. Click on the most recent patch for me it shows up as 1.0 and some other numbers. On the opposite side of where it says to where it says go to website there is also and activate button. Now when I first got the patch for a while I had to do this. It also fixes some current problems. I have no idea why but it does. Try it and if it doesn't work then I don't know.

It doesnt say most recent patches...Battlecorder and custom games..I didnt install Gamespy when I restarted earlier, could that do something?

Have you installed punkbuster file?
Have you ticked the box in the in game options saying "same version"

Try deleting the BF2 folder in MY DOCUMENTS, the whole folder. Empty recycling bin, reboot, rerun the game it will load a completely updated folder.
