Yeah I think that 6x AA CANNOT give you descent FPS with this card...atleast not in my experience with it.

i usually get as low as 40 and as high as the 80's. when there is nothing around sometimes hit the 90's

My stuff looks that good and i rarely go below 30 fps. I have a 9800pro 128mb. Seems unprobable, but look @ my thread: "Guess the Card/RIG!"

All on medium, cept i have Geometry, Effects and some other thing on High. 2xAA

But remember that Im only 13 and a half so you cant expect me to hav a hig end system. But I found out some great news today......

For my 14th Birthday (In Feb) Im getting a 7800 Ultra and 2 gigs of RAM :D on top of my current 700 and something.

But by the time Im your guys age my PC will be awsome :D

your processor is quite weak but good enough. u should reinstall ur drivers. clean the ones u have and download the new ones. and clear ur BF2 Cache

i got a 6600gt pci-e. I run on 1280 by 1024 with all setting on medium and 4x. Fps is around 20-80. Im thinking about 2x and see the fps difference. But bf2 looks soo good at the resolution you guys should try it.

can you plz explain how i do that? i've never delt with the drivers and never cleared my cache. so i don't really know how.

i was thinking about upgrading my cpu but i dont have the money right now should i upgrade my ram first? or wait and upgrade my cpu?

Of course the 6800gt is better than 6600gt. the 68 has more piplines better clocks i think and you can overclock it to an ultra. The 6600gt you can overclock but not much probably a 68nu. Get the 6800 with 2 gigs and your good to go.

Thats on a BFG 7800GTX with everything on at 1600x1200. Saved as a bmp so there is no colour loss.

1. The price difference is big

2. You can run BF2 on Med with the 6600 GT but with the 6800 u can run it on high ;)

(I currently have a 6600 but 4 my 14th b-day I will get the 6800 (:D ) so Ive been doing my homework and studing the differences between the 2)

Do you have one? Lets see some screens! This isnt a contest, "No mine is bigger!" Show us the diff between 7800 and other cards. I have Nvidia and Radeon, but the x850 is my better card till 7800 drops their prices. I got my x850 for $250.00, thats half the cost of a 7800.

Just a question to those with Amazing Screens of the game, what do you use to take the screnshots ? Fraps ?? I have a 6600GT and can run on all Full with 2 - 4X AA and it does not look as good as some of those screens, can anyone help?
