I noticed something about the sandbags.... they look a little "odd". I think my card might be overheating. (120 F max) Does anybody else have this problem? If so is there a way to fix it?

Restart the game, if that doesn't work, you need to re-install your video drivers.

I took screens [1 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/OAKside24/Other/Screens/bf2-smoovebaggas.jpg), 2 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/OAKside24/Other/Screens/bf2-smoovebaggas02.jpg)] a while back also but never got around to asking about them. Hasn't occured in a while. [Spec: BFG nVIDIA 6800GT / ForceWare v80.40b] Wondering if any ATi peeps also get them, doubt it. But they have their own problems! :p

Man, this looks too strange to be caused by gpu overheating. It looks as if the game applied the wrong pixel shader to the sand bags.. I don't think this effect is caused randomly as it looks like a wood pixel shader.. If you can't solve the problem, try reinstalling bf2.

This effect is caused by your Anti-Aliasing being set up too high, try lowering your Anti-Aliasing settings down to "Application Controled"....or just a lower setting then the highest.
I had this happen to me as well, Its a byproduct of the Nvidia Drivers
