Just wondering if anyone uses TuneXP 1.5. It sortof helped my computer with the RAM issues but i was wondering if i should turn on CPU priority. There was something that saidthat it would only help low end machines and could make high end machines run a lil slower.
Heres my specs:
Intel(R) Xeon 2.0GHz
512MB of RDRAM
Geforce FX 5200 128MB

Low end? No
Low end for BF2, yes. Well a bit.
But getting a better video card should put you in place.
The 5200 is not only supported by BF2, it makes BF2 play like ***. That was my old video card. I jumped up to a 6800 GT and its orgasmic.
And btw, I like tunexp. I follow the faq's suggestions and it helped me by maybe 5-10%. *Note I just pulled those numbers out of my **** But it does have some good optimizations you don't get from other programs, and the boot defrag'ing is welcome.
