I've been working on this for about 4 days now, spent doing the stunts, going through and getting rid of 60 or so "failures" because I did'nt name\number or record what happened properly lol and learning about battlelauncher with using demos and learning Sony Vegas 5.0

This is a short (just under a minute), 10mb preview of 3 stunts I did the other night, recorded with battlelauncher and edited in vegas 5.0.

I have 17 stunts in total (including these 3) which may make it into the final video. All stunts were done by me personally, and the editing and "camera" work was also done by me personally also.

Previously, my videos have been poor First Person fraps or poor battlerecorder jobs, hopefully you can see an improvement over these other vids (Look around my filefront downloadable files if you Really want).

Thank you.

And thanks to V³ BigMac, who provided much inspiration for this vid and knowledge of how to get started on it.

Updated link. This is slightly update, a improved and smoother intro, and a other effects.

Bloody good movie there mate! Nice use of effects and camera angles, in particular i liked the angle at the end where you see the shadow from the F-18. Cant wait to see final version. Cheers for the mention too :P

Link is up. If you've got it already (I'm sure there was a mad rush for the first link), then it's probably not worth it again.

Anyone else? I'm looking for feedback on what i've done, not really about the stunts themselves.

Alright. So I liked it, but in my opinion, you need to do more with the text. The camera angles were good, and the editing was decent, but it seems like the text was kind of thrown in there last minute. The stunts themselves were nothing new and innovative, but in your defense, there isn't much we haven't already seen. Good start, looking forward to seeing the completion.

As the previous poster said, do something with the text. :) Also, try to mix up the stunts a bit, e.g. barrel roll before the bridge, going under the bridge upside down.

If you want to make it really special, find a very tight bridge. If you would approach it from the left, go at it from the right at a medium altitude. Flip your plane over and pull back, doing a half barrel roll ending upside down flying under the bridge. This basically shows the viewer that the stunt was very complex, didn't have a long time to set up and took skill. This is hard, but its very do-able, so it's up to you how much work you would want to put in the video. ;)

Well, I've got quite a few extra stunts than those shown (about 20 or so), pretty much all of them are more advanced than the preview stunts. I'm currently rendering them to video files to be ready to edit, and should be ready pretty soon.
