i am not sure if this is an easter egg but once our commander had bad lag and when he called for a uav the game must of thought he was not there since he was lagging so much. so all his uavs imediatly fell out of the sky and some got stuck in trees and then he started to use it as a weapon (it kills people when it lands on them)

I've noticed that too. Every time that showed up, I always have this thing in my mind that EA wants the world, and that DICE has to try and regain peace by flying from the moon and battling on Earth and stuff, lol.

I can't believe no one has made a video about this on Youtube or mentioned it elsewhere, but now it's great that I've found a place where a few others know about it too.

Anyway, the easter eggs that I've seen from the game are the crop circles, the arabic boxart of BFV on several walls and the 'Dice Cream' ad. I haven't seen the pink bears in Sharqi yet; I'm far too busy trying to snipe some MEC bastards. :ar15:

I'm sure it isn't anything a commander dropped because:

1) I've tried dropping everything a commander gets there, it doesn't leave a distance display
2) Just now, I saw it as soon as I spawned( and the game began ). Commanders hadn't been elected yet.

I was looking for hours yesterday for a way to free spectate around, I was able to do it before when I died, but I've been told that is a glitch and I need the BattleRecorder( which I'm not prepared to download and set up JUST to see what is down there ).

Someone please go find out what that is.

use battlerecorder, u dont need to download anything, set up a local server, add that map and play for ac oupld opf minutes, but first open up the console and type in demo.recorddemo *file name*

That is the enemy UAV.
It's a bug that is going to be fixed in the 1.4 patch.

No, when I host a local server and go commander, it is never there. It only appears on certain servers. On these servers it's there every round from the beginning to end. It doesn't go away when the commander uses the UAV, I've checked.

I was able to get a screenshot of the UFO after all. I think its a kit glitch just like when dead soldiers go flying into the air. The "UFOs" do the same but from a distance its hard to tell what it is. Seems pretty rare too:

Wrong, and wrong. First, it's not a carrier, it's an amphibious assault ship. Second, it's got nothing to do with which fleet the ship belongs to. It's simply the hull number of the ship. You know... LHD-2.

OMG, they named it Carrier as the spawnpoint in Zatar, and every other is the same and the 2 is for Battlefield 2 so it might be considered a slight Easter Egg

k I dunno if it's a easter egg but if u look at a dead soldier, and then hit spotted you will start to laugh, in the game that is, you taunt basicly... I think the server can chose how often it will be allowed to taunt, and I bet some servers desnt even have it... Ive heard it a few times and it sounds really funny...

The firs time was on karkand, and I was lieing on a roof with a support guy, he was shooting as hell and all of a sudden he started laughing... I was like WTF!? You couldnt miss that it was from the game... This was like 10 month ago, and ive been playing since bf2 was released... Must have come with some of the latest patches...
