hey there,
The game constantly crashes back to Desktop when I try to start a Single Player game. As the progress bar moves along the bottom, at some point it will either exit to Desktop or stick (I have to then press Esc) with a Windows error sound.
It did work once, but every other time it failed.
Sometimes I get an error like the following -
memory.dll: sanity check: block size -756497688 (3374.55) doesn't seem sane
PC:
Athlon 2800+
1.5GB RAM
GeForce 6800 GT 256MB
Pagefile on C: = 200MB
Pagefile on F: = 2302MB - 4000MB
Plenty of HDD space
Audigy 2 Soundcard
1280 x 1024 x 100Hz
Any ideas, guys?
