Alright well...I thought perhaps my problems were video card related...so I went out and bought a new ATI x800.....I am still crashing to desktop -- even after installing new drivers....man....

Specs:

Pentium D 2.8 gHz per core
ati x800
1 gig ddr2 ram (pc4200)

AGP Speed issue or Patch related. Try changing your AGP speed to 4X not 8X.

my card is PCI-E, but thanks...I will keep trying it all!
