cache file probs

peepz....i've seen some people posting threads about the problems they have with bf2 and i've seen some peepz answering and talking about cleaning out all cache files...question: what are these cache files doing?? what's their use and why would they be a problem? are they something like temp. files or anything??

Cache files do just that; cache data for faster access. Sometimes, especially after making configuration chages, the cache may not be updated and cause issues. Deleting the cache files has no negative effects, except for maybe a delay in loading the next time as the cache files are being recreated.
