I have a MS-6577 motherboard and I currently have both ram slots filled(2 512 sticks). My computer shows 1024 ghz. My question is; is there an adapter that fits 2 ram chips in one slot so I can get another gig of ram without having to buy 2 1 gig sticks. Also, what's up with these ram drives that are like 4 gigs. Will they work if your mobo only supports 2 gigs? Thanks for your wisdom.

No there is no adapter, and the RAM drives are just used like an extra hard drive, it doesn't really give you anymore ram.

IMHO get a new MoBo and RAM + a WD Raptor or fast Hard drive.

I'm pretty sure he was asking if a ram drive would increase his amount of ram.
