Plus they aren't as good as we are. The quality of their military organization, communication and individual soldiers are all less than ours. Not to say they aren't significant, but we are a superior fighting force despite the numbers. I think the kill to death ratios from WW2 (10-1 agaisnt the Japanese), Korea and Vietnam can give us an accurate picture of China's abilities.

I could be wrong, but I think they're putting a LOT less into improving their military than you think. Especially with a poulation as big as theirs. And its not just technology making a difference. The biggest assets to a military force are training and logistics.

what rock did u come out from under deadlyMACD? - you are judging their armed forces based on 30+ yr old case studies and before the 92 and 97 resolutions.
also back in those periods china was severely outclassed in technology... and if you then want to go on tenacity - the chinese despite their casualties - pushed back japan with very little help, pushed back the americans to the 38th parrallel, and in vietnam... well that is certainly not a good example... china supplied not engaged - and even then you were bitterly defeated there (lets not fool ourselves). imagine china on equal terms technologically...

in short i will leave you with this - the last time america had this attitude of being untouchable militarily it was shown up by a country that had only come out of the fuedal system 30yrs earlier... the funny thing is you guys aren't going to understand until it happens again.

hehehe no im not. that is a funny idea though. i am certainly not keen to see them as a single superpower but their presence is needed to balance out the vacuum currently underway. "Communist" china is probably not the best way to describe them mate. the only thing communist left is in the party name. actually, come to think of it - things would probably be better with them as prime military influence. China has no imperial ambitions (other than the obvious of course). they simply have enough people to worry about as it is. in fact the next 20 years of planned development are inwardly focused so if anything they would keep irresponsible, gung ho countries in line instead of messing things up more than they already were... it is hard for you guys to know what china is really like when all u have is FOX and CNN (etc) and western print media to go off... I'm sorry, but China is increasing it's defense spending by about 10% a year, this is true. And they are also pushing hard to buy weapons from the Europeans. But China is no where NEAR the U.S.'s defense budget.

Well, I'm here to tell you don't to believe the hype. I'm pretty well traveled and its not so much different here than it is in the rest of the civilized world.And even in the military you can't just open fire and ask questions later. There are rules even in war. Ever heard of the Geneva Convention?? It deals with rules of engagement. Also let me state another reason that its a follish generalization. You can be in one part of thr US and see how people are there. But then you go to a different part, and you see a totally different perspective. America is filled with people from all over.

TotalBF2 need to get on the ball and delete or lock such topics degrading another race(as well as not tollerating that behavior from its own damn staff). Look in the Vault, topics have been moved there for much less.
