CoH = Major problems for me

Since I bought this game, about a week after release date, this game has been giving me hell all the time. First, I get the annoying "could not connect to all players in the game" in about 19 out of 20 games I join.

And since 1.5 was released, I cannot play online. It says I have to download some update, about 4 MB size. Yeah ok, but downloading through the game has never worked for me. So, I can't play it online anymore.

Anyone know what I can do?

I get the "Could not connect all players to the game" message all the time, and i know a lot of other people get it too. To be honest i have no idea what causes it, could be the connection to relic's servers that is the problem. About the 1.5 patch problem, the best option is to re-install and backup your replays and stuff, then try applying the patch again.

After speaking to some other Icelandic dudes, I found out what the problem is. NAT routers.

I doubt it, i have a Linksys router and have the same problem and loads of people are having this problem too, it's a problem on relic's side i think.

Yea it sure is, but it's linked to NAT routers, or at least it looks like it. I have no problems playing a game with someone that doesnt have a NAT router, but when I'm playing with someone that uses a NAT router, it doesn't work. Downloading through the game doesn't work for anyone that I know.

Pretty much everyone in Iceland uses a NAT router, cause IP addresses are quite expensive here. Everyone I know are having the same problems. Either Relic hates Iceland, or NAT routers.

Poor iceland, make sure that you report it to them, there is a thread on their forums where you can report bugs, if you report it the bug may get fixed :)

You can download the 1.5 manually , and also i know a few guys who cant connect to each other when we want to play but if you use the Hamachi server tool ( creates local networks without effecting your normal one ) you can play locals and will all be able to play .

I have 1.51 now, and we're about 15 Icelandic guys that play through Hamachi. So yea, I can play the game, but constantly playing versus the same people gets boring, althogh I really enjoy the game.
