CoH lag =(

Ok so here are my computers specs:
1024 Gig Ram
Nvidia Geforce 6600 LE 256 mb
AMD 64 Athlon processor

And I get lag and cannot enjoy the game to the fullest, I have an AGP slot but its taken by the Nvidia, what video card do you guys recommend?:confused:

What do you have your settings at?

I have my settings at:
Resolution- 1024x768
Shader Quality- High
Model Quality-High
Antialiasing- off
Textures-Medium
Building quality- high
the rest is on low and on these settings it doesnt lag unless im close to trees for osme reason.

How about you lower those other settings, and try that out?

I had to lower mine all the way so it wouldn't lag too.

Yeah you can :) the game is still good, the graphics are not that bad, quite decent for a low setting.

not yet...hopefully when i get my new 8800GTS maybe...but i'll have to see, especially if DX10 support is thrown in

I got a 7600 GT OC and it plays the game great. I never notice the difference in the graphics when I am playing, I guess I am too immersed in the game. I do notice the high settings play a replay me games, but when I play I never seems to notice.

because it says u need a 3.00 ghz one and mine has 2.40:confused: :confused:

Most likely your card...the 6600 is getting pretty old now, but if you are going to upgrade i would save up and buy a whole new comp with PCI instead of AGP or you will end you paying stupid amounts..

i only push medium graphics on my 7600GT

Yea you are right. I m going to save up I guess. But the thing is I don't want a computer with vista. Vista is a pain.

same but its the only way to get DX10...unless if you are going to rely on that developing program that makes DX10 work with XP...(forgot linky and name :p)
