Still lagging

Hey, I have all my settings on low and my sight range set at 50% and im still getting lag!
my stats are:
DSL: dl speed = 300<
Vid card: Radeon x700;http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814131307
Ram: 1gb ram (pc2700) 2 256mb ram and a 512mb
Processor: 2.6 GHZ Celeron
Motherboard: Gigabite; http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128285

The motherboard is socket 478 and i have 3 ram slots to work with, what can i upgrade so i can at least play at medium settings?

The problem is the Celeron and the 128k of L2 cache it has.

It's a lot better than what you have, make sure your board supports it though and get some extra cooling for it, those Prescotts run HOT.
Personally if you have the money go for an AMD64 setup, a board and 3200 Venice should cost you around the same as that 3.0 prescott.

i have a big fan on my comp right now i think it blows like 250 cfm anyway my 2.6 celeron runs at 44> c'

Mabey I could just get arctic cooling for it?
