The KMOD: Nations At War (http://www.kmod.org/) team have released a Hotfix that fixes the crash to desktop problems with patch 1.6, Take a look:
We have now released a patch that fixes the CTD kmod was causing all the time. So now you can play KMOD with the latest CoH version.
