Mission help

Sup.
Im new to COH, and discovered this game is extremely hard when you dont know what you are doing, which is my case i suppose.

Anyway, im stuck on a mission where you have to rescue Dog company. After finishing the rescuing part you have to deal with 10 panzer units and random enemy respawn. I find it impossible to complete no matter what strategy i use. I ask this basicly because all missions prior to this one were easy to complete and this makes me feels im missing something.
So what is best strategy for this particular mission? Do i need to hold the rescue point and start capturing supplies from there? Or to avoid being flanked and move all forces back to HQ location and start capturing nearby resources?

This rts must be hardest of all i played. Game is too fast to familiarize with all its functions, thus being at current mussion i dont know half im doing.

Did you play the tutorial? That will help you immensley. I have completed the campaign (as a warm up for multiplayer) and I believe that you need to build a tank depot or a motor pool to take out the tanks. If you need some help you can visit the relic forums and someone has made a thread to help newer players. Remeber to retreat your units if your in a losing battle. Flank units, and always keep your own vehicles front armor facing the other tank. Getting shot in the *** doesn't help you.

BoDyBaGG2224 is correct, if you play the tutorial you will find the game easier, but still a challenge.

Tutorials are retarted all it does is teach you how to select units and do about the most obvious things. what i did on that level was after rescuing dog company fall back to your HQ and defend that and then take points around you.

Use shermans they are the key and make sure you have engys to repair them. I got it done easly on normal mode.

I wouldn't say that. There are many things that where not in other rts, except the dawn of war series and if you haven't played that, the tutorial is very infomative. :)

This is the only tactic that worked for me on this mission.
Keeping the centre of the map and holding nearby resources seems impossible. Did try a few scenarios on that and got nowhere near to building tanks or halftracks as all resources went to replacing units.

I finally completed this map and the next one, which was a lot easier.:)

I always play the tutorial first thing in a game. Otherwise you miss things. Swat 4 was a great example of that! When i had finnished the game and played the tutorial i realised i could controle the snipers and the other swat people! Such a disapointment.
