We fought bravely, we fought with honour and pride for our nations.....we got owned.

Yesterday me and Idaeus had one of the most intense fights that we have every been involved in. I wont be discussing tactics, because they are secret. But we got over the bridge onto the allies side, i destroyed a base. And then the pershings came, the guy had a huge fleet of them. They destroyed my occupying tanks (Elite Panthers and panzers, not to mention a tiger ace!) , and then began to hold us off allowing them to re-build. They then recovered and crossed to our side, destroying everything in their way and our bases :(

We got so owned we could smell the gun-powder. It was Vire River Valley btw. Thing is we were certain to win at first. And they kept air reconing and callioping us but only hit us like3 times out of 20 since every time the planes went past we moved everything.

Be careful if one of you guys go defensive and build a Flak 88. Don't leave units behind the Flak gun since if you shoot down a plane it turns into the Allied V1.

Yeah allied planes are the friggin equivalent to a V1. They can take out 3/4 health HQ's in one...uh...Kamakaziee dive?

i wonder, if i have 1(or more howitser, or mortar or nebelwoffer ) shoting upwords when a spitfire flies over if it can get hit

If the shell is falling and when it is falling it strikes a spitfire, the plane will crash. Not joking, seriously can happen. Going up, I don't know.

ATs and mortars are great defensive weapons, 3 mortar crews in overlooking position = entire platoon of troops goes by = ownage

However 1 sniper can pretty much ruin your day. And if you have all of those defences then the enemy can just go around them and cap everything, since you probably won't have that much capping power.
