Infantry Only VS Classic battles

What mode do you prefer? I really enjoy infantry only games. It seems like the game was made for infantry battles and then tanks were just thrown in for the sake of it. Ok maybe not that extreme but you get my point. Thoughts?

I dislike games that have a few infantry scuffles, and then it is tank micro for the rest of the game.

i love inf only,i think it takes much more thinking while in classic games toward the end its who has the most resources and who has more tanks kinda thing.

Remeber the game cherni when we won inf only as axis? that was pretty good. But i like sherman+ rangers = pwnage.

I second that. I love playing inf only on cty maps when you figh from building to building Stalingrad style! :D

how the hell do you set the game to infantry only?

You cant set it to infantry only. You have to make an agreement to play infantry only when you start the game. So when I whipp @ss on Beaux Lowlands the tanks usually come roling... :(

Is there any infantry only mod out there? I would make one if I knew how to mod..

lol, in a match people promise infantry only but be dirty and produce a front line of tanks behind your back :P

Inf only is pointlessly balanced in the AXIS direction..

Infantry only game should let Axis win 100% of the time. They have veterancy, more inf units, and the KCH. Allies get BAR's and such but over the entire course of the game, Axis should be victorious.

BTW how about the next time we have a Clan get together, we have an inf only game? Allies for me!

Last time we played, the map was just blocked off, resulting in a mass of unpin able squads walking over my bridge, if we do make it on an open map.

Yeah cus with Lyon if you send squads over the bridge, they get mowed down by MGs, and no other way around em. Germans have Knights Cross Holders which can pass by MG nests, which is odd and unfair.

Yes but for infantry only it gets quite hard right? Theres barely any way to get through... That is if you also play with no arty.

I really can't fix my opinion on one kind of gameplay, every one has it's good and bad sides..
