Need help to see recording...

Okay, these questions might seem dumb, but there is no frickin FAQ to support it. First off, if I don't type stop.recordingDemo thingy, and just exit BF2 altogether, will the video be saved? Also, I can see two documents in my Demos folder but they don't have a format, I'm afraid if I switch the format to like WMD, it will not play for some codec unreadable crap.

its demo.stoprecording and yeah it will stop when you quit if you forget.. but
its a demo file
so you still need to open it back up in bf2 to play it, its not a codec, and will not play in windows media player
