Lockup in Map Editor

I started up the Map Editor and i was switching btw the Word Doc on starting out and after about ten minutes it locked up and i had to do a cold restart of my machine.

I am a StarCommander3 Modder, though i have never started from scatch in building a map, so perhaps it was the fact of switching back and forth on the Editor and Word? I dont know, i have a fast machine costume built.

Intel Chip and Board 2.7gig
1gig Memory
80gig WD 7200rpm (brand new)
ATI 9600pro 256mb Video

I only loaded the Map Editor, which is still a beta i believe. Is this a known bug or what?

ya prolly from switching - editor is ram intensive

Ah, i thought it might be something like that. Only reason i say that is becuase the dame game is the same way.

Hes right. Even with good specs, this program as well as the game it was built for is a memory hog! GL!
