Need Help with Alpha Channels

Hello

I and making a mod and I need to have the flags changed. So I need to edit the .dds files in order to do this. I do not have photoshop but photoshop elements so editing alpha channels does not work. Could someone please edit the alpha channels to remove the black outlines around the flags. This would be very helpful.
