I already got a computer last month, specs in my sig. But I want faster. I was thinking about just getting a new motherboard, video card, power supply, and processor. I just want to know, would all this work out good, fit properly, not over heat, and is it all compatable. I'm not that expirenced with computer building. Here are the parts I want and already have.
AMD 3500+ 2.4GHz to a AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103529)
A Asus Salmon mother board to a ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131540)
A radeon 9600 XT 256mb AGP to a Radeon x1800 256mb PCI-E video card (http://www.ati.com/products/RadeonX1800/index.html)
A 230 Watt power supply to a 680 Watt power supply (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817148021)
And I already have 1024mb DDR3200 RAM, 200GB HD, Monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard, case, a CD burner Drive, and a dvd drive.
