personally i am really looking forward to the night fights - i can only imagine what affect the muzzle flash has on the dynamic lighting... this is going to kick *** :) i think i am going to be using that more than the night vision :D

at least it will tie me over until the obvious...

It looks bad, for example: When you look at the sniper he doesn't look in the sniper-rifle with his night-vision, but just left of it...

Im sad to see like,russia, insurgents, rebels, and china to have the exact same weapons as in bf2.....

Fuking lame honestly. Release some other sniper rifles you assholes.

:D its starting to look like a really good expansion pack, but still both DICE teams should but there effort to fixing BF2 first, but still great work DICE, specail forces looks awesome:D

What is still wrong with BF2 Besides the friendly sometimes being marked as bad guys?

Only thing I can see is the tag and they need to lessen the firepower of jets.

i personnaly think it wont be worth buying it .. BF is the viechle , army vs army fight and not sneaky things ..? i mean .. if u want to sneak then play Splinter cell ! but anyway .. i think i will buy an illegal version first :P if i like the game i will buy the legal one .. ( just like i do with all games though :D )

Pre-ordered it yesterday. Looking forward to the Apache and the Hummer with the TOW. Also like the idea of Tear Gas and Flash bangs. 30 USD is quite reasonable even if it flops, which I don't think it will with the community that BF2 has.

If you are looking forward at a flag pole and the wind is blowing from your right to your left, is the flag being flow backwards? Of course not. This is the same rule that is being applied to the wearing of the flag. AR 670-1, states it in a different manner but with the same effect. The flag is worn as it would fly. To wear the flag facing the other way, what some consider the correct way, would be incorrect and disrespectful. It also shows that the military forces would never have the flag pointing the other way, which would be signaling a retreat.

Hmm, 30$ for 6 new armies, 8 new maps (BF2 has 13), 10 new vehicles, night vision, grappling hook, zip line, and new weapons? That sounds like a sweet deal, it's practically a full game.

Playing SP makes no difference...cuz all you want to know/see is the new stuff hat have been added...my dad goes to Russia sometimes (I live in US, and I'm Russian)....so he buys like different software and sh*t...cuz it's cheaper there....I got Photoshop CS2 and Office 2003 for like $5 each...and a game is about the same

Helloooo!! I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Just because they layed some of the groundwork for things that will be in the expansion it doesn't mean that it was "supposed" to be in the original release. You people are friggin greedy and lame. I hope NONE of you whiners buy the expansion. It will be much more fun without you. Oh and PS: EA doesn't owe anyone anything.

God i hope not. Sucks to not know someone is there and run right past them.

But i'm talking about in my Display Properties, or with PowerStrip. Simple keystrokes raise or lower the gamma.

I've used it with BF2 a few times, but found a setting in my Display Properties that i can live with. A little dark on some maps, and a little light on others.

Hey all,
I pre ordered the expansion pack about a month back even before everyone sterted talking about it in real detail.
All i know is that it will be a whole new level of playing and i will not want to miss out whilst everyone, who doesnt whine about the first thing and immediately presume that ea is just trying to take money from us, is playing the new expansion pack which looks awesome.
If you think that the game will be rubbish and they are trying to take our money then we dont want to hear from you on this forum even though it is funny hearing you whine over nothing.

The BF series is NOT known for quality expansions (although RtR was ok, secret weapons was just a joke that cost the same as BF42)

Yes, you'll be able to switch between the two by clicking the appropriate shortcut.

You need to play more BF2. If you can't find anythign else wrong, the problem is you.
