well I suck at playing allies 1-3 in ranked matches and am 3-0 in axis. Are the upgrades in the upgrade in the supply yard worth getting. It says it reduces the upkeep cost by 25% I didnt even know there was upkeep costs. In 1 vs. 1 is it worth the resources?

Generally, no. When you build the building you get a 25% manpower upkeep, decrease. Then each one is an additional 25%. But in a 1v1 unless you have a plan that will not rely on fuel, and more so on manpower, then go ahead and get them. In team games you should always get the first or 2nd, cause that will allow you to field units faster. Let's say that you have +300mp and then you make a riflesquad. That squad has an upkeep value, let's say 6. So now your income is +294. You build more and more units and that starts to add up. By getting the supply depot and upgrades that decrease is lessened.

Exactly what is an upkeep cost? Does it reduce the cost of creating units, or do/did we have to pay our units to work? :hmm:

Basically every unit costs something to keep the running (upkeep cost). That cost is subtracted from your manpower. For example: You start the game and you just have 1 engineer squad. If you check your manpower income you'll see (I don't know I'm just throwing out a number) +300mp. So every minute you will get +300 man power added to your total. As you build units that income is reduced slightly as an upkeep cost. So a rifle squad may turn that +300 to like+292 and so on and so forth for the more units you build.

By getting the upkeep cost reducers in the supply depot, you will gain some of your upkeep back: ie. If you have +292 and you build the SD then you get like +294 then you get the upgrade and gives you like +297 and so on. You won't reach your original amount, but when you have rifespam your MP income will be very very low. If you get these upgrades, you can spam more stuff. :)

its not really worth it, but you've got no choice when you need to upgrade to armour. its just there, and i never really notice it

If you do a hardcore riflespame, you may want to consider getting one. That way you can have like 8 riflesquads on the field, and still manage to get a decent amount of manpower income. Cause if you have 8 Riflesquads, then that leaves you with like +200 Manpower income, which can hurt you.

If you use the infantry tier, then upgrading the supply yard imo is a must!
