They're collectively known as the Royal Engineers, why pointlessly add 'Scottish' in there? By this logic we need to call the Royal Commandos the Royal English Commandos.

I don't see the problem with calling them Scottish, since they are a Scottish unit.

I will remind you that the United Kingdom consists of four countries. The British Army is made up of troops from the four countries, and we do have Scottish Units that are only Scots in the British Army.

Plus i demanded with E-mails, and Relic Listened :D

But there is no such thing as the Scottish Engineers. The Royal Engineers are a mix between Englishmen, Welshmen, Ulstermen and Scotsmen. This is the British Army people, be a bit difficult to say its the Welsh-English-Scottish- Ulster Army now wouldn't it?

What about the English ay? Or the Welsh? Why is it that Scotland should get this special 'recognition'? They only made up a part of the army and certainly not as significant part as England, not to say less important, just England has always made up the biggest part of the British Army. Go figure, it heralds 85% of the UK population.

I demand that they call The Royal Commandos, The Royal English Commandos.

Although this is a testament to Relics lack of British Army knowledge, the British Army does not use the 'Royal' suffix. So they should have just called them the British Commandos. However, they could have got confused with the Royal Marine Commandos. Again, these units are/were mostly made up of Englishmen so English Commandos :p

Okay, so the fact that Scotsmen gave their life to fight for this union is not significant? I'm sorry but that comment is extreamly unjust.

Refrain from the country bashing.

YAY! for the unlock! Comon no country bashing, everything needs everyone. An army is not one, but parts of a whole, without one, others will have problems.
