Help with the tutorials.

Hey guys, brand new to map-making here. I'm not here to ask you guys how to do it, as there are tutorials and I can get by on those. I just need to know, how the hell do you use them (tutorials)? My computer dosent even recognize the file type, what program do i use to watch/read them?

i believe you need to get " WinRAR " just type that in google :-D after that right click the icon adn extract to desktop

no, they were zipped, i got them unzipped and now have a file that windows does not recognise, and a folder full of pictures. What do they show up as for you?

they should be a word document/ or try opening with notepad/

I don't have Microsoft word, so i googled and found this for free. Microsoft Word Viewer 2003.
