I suggest just do the campaign, do a lot of skirmish games against bots.

Skirmishes will give you the basic idea but human players think completely differently. Post a video of one of your matches, and I'll take a look, and give you the good and bad of it. Remember to always stay on the offense when Allies, and don't sit somewhere for too long. Rifles are better close range, and Volks better longrange so rush volks if you are rifles to give yourself a better chance at winning.

not sure, i think im making poor decisions on what to buy and i think im spreading units out to thinly, i dunno i gave a good fight 1v1 against someone of similar rank but he just overpowered me with tanks although i had control of most of the map, its a really fun game though so hopfully soon ill start learning stuff

What side do you play most as?
Allies are more newbie friendly.

i think mainly because you do the campaign as them and are more familiar with them. i find axis much easier to play with. once you learn all the units and their uses.

What I like is how different they play, especially regarding base bilding. US is more of the normal style, just build your base. Wehrmacht is like AoE where you have to go through battlephases and the Brits have moving Buildings. :)

i found something fun to work with after playing against allied computers. they use the AT gun a lot which is really annoying but was finally killed by a squad. if you had a front line of AT guns supported by infantry, it'll be alright. i found it quite effective
