suppressing fire

i have been watching a few replays, but whoever is allied doesn't seem to use suppressing fire with the bar's. is it not worth the munitions cost? is it not effective?

Suppresion Fire is a situational thing. I prefer to use it with nades, to suppress them and then throw a nade. Other times, if I'm strapped for munitions, I'l just let the BAR do its dammage. It depends on play style and situation, overall it is worth the cost and is effective.
