Company of Heroes: Modern Warfare

Hi guys, I'm new to these forums but certainly not new to CoH.

I just wanted to drop by and say that over at the Relic forums we've been planning a modern warfare modification (or even total conversion depending on how well things go). Now obviously as you all know it is not possible to animate anything or, as far as I know, it's not possible to export anything into game yet.

I just thought I'd get everyone's attention, as we do certainly need a texturer or two along with another modeller at the moment.

Good idea, but how about the modding possibilities? I heard there are not enough tools atm?

That's right, there aren't the right tools to animate a model and export it into game yet. Hopefully after the release of OF they'll release some much needed tools.

I'm sure relic will release the proper tools, since there is great potential in the modding community.
Right now all the mappers are happy, but so much more can be done.

Yep lol, well IDF-Godzilla has modelled an M1A1, and somewhere else he has a finished version I think. We're just trying to get as much as we can at the moment.

Wow....as if I wasn't already excited enough for this game....a modernwarefare mod...wow.....havent even touched the game yet and it already feels better than bf2
