Where are the maps?

Just picked up my copy of OF and to my extreme dismay, there were basically no new maps over the beta which itself only included a few. Seems like they could have added a few additional maps to this.

Game is awesome but the lack of maps is very disappointing. The only saving grace is the existing customs still work.

The thing with COH maps is that it takes a while to design them (make them look pretty) and then balance them with all the sectors, and then make sure everything is proportioned right, AND then make sure there are enough resources. COH maps just take longer to make. But I like the new 1v1's and 2v2's.

If you have vCoH you can play all those maps with any army. They will probably release more maps in a patch. like bodybag said making a good map takes time

I have mapped for CoH, Takes a very long time. Can be as much as two months to make a map with a perfect feel to it.

They normally include maps in their bigger patches, and unlike a certain company **COUGH*EA/DICE**COUGH** dont charge gamers for a few maps.

Im sure Relic will add some more custom maps with patches in the future:D

For those who don't have the regular COH (which I do), the games isn't worth $40 with the few maps they include.

Uhhh, you get new maps, 2 new campaigns, 2 new sides, 6 new command trees, and new units/vehicles.
