Can't uninstall or install!

So I tried to unistall BF2 because it will not start, it would just stay at the black screen. When I tried to unistalled the unistall progress did not move after like an hour, I tried to unistall a lot of times but none of them worked.I had BF2 installed on one of my raptor HDD's and windows installed on another so I went to the one I have BF2 in and deleted the whole BF2 folder after that I went to my documents and deleted the BF2 folder after that I went to programs files or whatever and deleted the folder that shows BF2 on the start menu.Now when I try to install it the menu does not have the install option it has the play now option but that doesn't work since I deleted the folder. What else do I need to delete and how?I know I have to delete some other $hit but I don't remember what folder it's in:cry:

Have you tried searching for UNINSTALL ?? If you did and used Search Titles Only then a lot of threads are returned telling you how to exactly do this.

You didn't remove the proper registry settings, and that's why it won't let you uninstall.

After a year in finally uninstalled and installed but why does it take forever like this...

The patch is taking forever now it wont move! and BF2 takes forever to start, it stays at blacks screen for like 2 mins when I start it.:confused:and gunny thanks that's what I used.

When you finally get in the game is it operating at normal speeds, and are you able to join servers??

It could take long time to start BF2, if it has to way for connection and if that is blocked by firewall, then it will ahve to way until it times out. Are you using any kind of software firewall??

Yeah I have a firewall but never had problems with it but now it gets disabled and enabled without me setting it in the options:confused:
