View Full Version : BF2 taking to damn long to start

Today I noticed BF2 took like 3+mins to go from the black screen to the EA Games intro and stuff.After BF2 loads, everything runs fast and normal.I also notice that when I tried to unistall then install it it took like half an hour( or more!) on this screen...

After that I installed some more stuff and the same thing happens, the installer takes FOREVER to start! Nothing else on my computer starts slow but BF2 and the installer when I try to install something. What could the problem be! I defraged all my HDD's already and a lot of stuff I can't remember.

sory i have no clue.. but i got a question? how'd u get that windows xp theme? plz .. it looks sweet :D

i had the same problem. the only thing that screwed it up that i could think of is the moniter refresh rates...i know that sounds stupid but when i changed mine it messed up and took forever to start.

Look into GUI replacements. WindowzBlinds is a good program. StyleXP and Aston are two others I know of.
