Ok, I have not played Bf2 for a few months. I recently reformated and installed 64 bit os... Anyway, I installed the game everything worked fine. I first played a game of single player to get back into everything and it all worked fine. Then I went online, I have a great connection, but I lag like hell. Im running to Nvidia 7800's in SLI. I turned everything down and nothing worked. I just have wierd lag only when I move to, others don't lag... Can anyone help?

It would help if you posted your PC's specs; CPU, sound card, and what settings you have BF2 at.

maybe you are playing on slow or bad servers?
before you connect, see the servers ping, pick a server with at least beneath 80...
also good idea, dont take a server from abroad, try to connect to a server in your own country or close (dont across the half world:P)
and it must be your internet connection...
3700 64bit is much, more then i have
4 gig of ram :|: ive 1gig
you have a sli...
so it cant be your hardware, it must be software or internet connection...
maybe firewall?

holy S***! im droolin over those specs... its most certantly your connection not your hardware. spyware? virus? do scans... maybe firewall blocking? tell us your ping ingame...

same problem, of course not those beastie specs, im dreamin of those. lol, but check the firewall, i can't stress that enough, i was running good, then i installed sygate personal firewall, and the lag had begun. so make sure your not using any firewalls that may F@#k up your connection.

Yeah, I always connect to low ping servers, and I turned my firewall off once to try it. I have not played battlefield for a while, but it seemed like I was running way to fast in single player. Maybe with 64 bit theres some sort of an increase in something? Oh well, that may seem dumb but it's all I can think of. Thanks for all the help so far! Keep me posted on whatever other ideas come to mind.
Thanks,
