Need help be4 I lose it...

Ok...I got SF today and I had BF2 and the 1.12 patch installed already...and when i went to go play SF I kept getting this message everytime I go to click on the join server and I go back to the server menu and it says that the server doesnt support unmodified something...and that i should return it to the offical version if someone could help me out i would be quite glad...

uh... you have to reinstall 1.12 for SF. you basically just installed 1.12 for BF2 and not SF. so all your SF files are still in 1.11.

Well would that effect my bf2 cause i uninstalled sf to see if that was it...

Wait I installed the patch again when i did sf and got that message

Okay, this is what I did. Perhaps not what the almighty admins have done because they're uber gamers and probably can write a quadratic formula program on their TI-83's w/o google.

Okay,
Step 1 - Install BF2.
Step 2 - Patch up to whenever you like, it's all a waste of time.
Step 3 - Install BF2:SF. (it automatically installs 1.11 on your comp)
Step 4 - Install patch 1.12.
Step 5 - Open a can of spam, make fried rice, and eat it. Enjoy.
Step 6 - Play BF2: SF.
Step 7 - Eat some more spam... It's good for you.
