I have recently installed the SF expansion pack and the latest patch. Before the patch was installed, I could connect properly, but now, I can't.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

BTW, my firewall is Norton Personal Firewall, if that helps at all.

Same here, it takes forever to find account server, also have Norton Firewall.
Maybe you need to make the Firewall clear that Both SF and BF2 are allowed.

Have you tried disabling the firewall yet?

Yeah, and that didn't work, but why should I need to when prior to patching the game played fine but now it doesn't, hmm?

Well since 1.12 alters the exe then if you have something like ZoneAlarm then it will ask you before allowing it to access anything on the net.

Just have to enable it in your firewall / Delete NORTON.

Because the install has changed since you installed the patch, therefore your firewall sees it as a new program !!

Yep, now after you do that, you'll be upto date with 1.12.
