How cool would it be to have a mini-game where you have to jump out of a plane with other players and everybody has to land on certain objects on the map for points. To make it more interesting, there also should be some sort of action during this freefall. For example, players shooting or knifing each other...
The main idea is that there should be an high altitude experience.

I've got it out of an old ATARI game where you've had to land on a certain point. I think some parts of this idea can be achieved with the stuff that the BF2 engine offers. :p
