Ok, I just got BF2 for the holidays, and installed 1.12, and updated all my drivers to the newest ones. Well from a fresh reboot, the game runs perfect, get in, play for hours with no crashes or anything. Eventually though, after I quit the game, and try to play again at a later time, when I double click the icon, it gives me splash screen, then a "BF2.exe has encountered an error and is shutting down" type error.
If I reboot though, I can get right back in and play again. My problem is though, I hate rebooting, its a pain to have to reboot every time I want to play. I have to sign onto all my messengers again, etc etc.
Anyone know why this is happening, or how I can fix it? Thanks
