Hmm...I didnt really know there was a GS and a XT to the 6800 line!

So let me get this strait. In terms of overall performance (from best to worse) it goes like this:

GeForce 6800 Ultra, GeForce 6800 GT, GeForce 6800 GS, GeForce 6800, and GeForce 6800 XT

i have a 6800gs (actually two now), too bad im on my laptop at the moment. when I get back on my good computer if you still want Ill post some screenies of in game play. I get good framerates with a gig of ram, AMD athlon 3200+, a nivid a 6800gs at max settings with 2xAA.

i actually just bought a 6600 and i can run everything at max...
We've got the 6600GT, with the latest drivers, A64 3200, 2 gigs dual ram and there is no way we can run everything at max, even with all non-essential services disabled.

i had a 6600 once, and it could only run at medium good, and then it fried itself.

yeah i just have a 1/2 a gig of ram and everythings on max with the 6600... got a 3 gig processor tho.

..erm..not really. If you were smart and searched for it online, you could have got it for 250 off of newegg.

yea really, because, the 7800 doesnt come in agp... u have any idea how rare is the 6800gt right now? there are currently no items of 6800gt of anykind on newegg, and yea, probably when new shipment comes,there will be some but its gonna be outa stock in no time.

yea really, ive checked that site everyday since the summer time, try to find one agp :P ahahahahahha ull have the worst time lol. trust me man, i know wat im doing, 6800gt agp are extinguished almost . the price in summer was about 200 us, now its like 280- 300. when i found mine, my first reaction was like: so they dooo exist. lol

I got my 7800gt AND my PCI-e mobo for just a little more than that ($350 to be exact).... I wouldn't use the word lucky...
