I've been playing BF2 since it got out.
As a 30year old I find this game to be the first one that fullfills standards set by much younger than me. I'm a player since my first computer, ZX spectrum.
A looong time service.

Now days I work, have a wife and lots of obligations. Nevertheless, I keep fridays reserved for playing BF2. Buddy of mine and me play every friday 5pm til 5am saturday morning. It's been going on for 6 months now. Missed it only once. Every now and then I have to answer the most common of all questions brought to me by my friends and other nice ppl who see games only as a childrens way of avoiding playing sports, who are also 30ish or up, the same ones that forgoten what's fun in games. The question is: "What the fak do you see in that stupid game?".
So to answer their question in some other way, other than verbaly since it doesn't woork, I made this short movie. I wanted to present it the way we see it. Fun, excitement, explosions and energy.
To top it all of here's my question: where else could I be a pilot?

Hey nice video. That's definetly what BF2 is all about, big explosions - tons of vehicles blowing up ^_^

Technically, I liked what you did. The action on the screen matches the music and it is obvious that you know exactly what it is you're doing. I liked the respawn menu at the end, a good way to end the movie and to prove your point too - it's just a game, but a darn good one too :)

ah, alright :) maybe you need the divx decoder? google for it if you don't have it ^_^

infantry movie is the next subject. wont rush it. waiting for inspiration. have a good idea of some "system of a down" songs to use for soundtrack. gotta figure oute battlerecorder reproduciton.

yeah don't rush it.. since A LOT of BF2 fan movies out there are in fact people just running around, "pwning" o_O
