lol..those reflections you see on the scopes aren't true live reflections of whats right behind you.

Think of it more of as a long strip of paper thats scripted to appear on your scope as you move the scope around 360 degrees.

you may not know, but DICE programmed special graphics easter eggs. The scope on the sniper rifle (the reflection) is not looking behind you, but INFRONT of you. The scope on the sniper is coded to see through walls and such to a certain degree. So you can sort of use it to tell where enemies are ;) ;) ;)

since this thread has been made a couple weeks ago, ill quote the answer..

Its not odd, its called cube environment mapping.
Theres a "box" around the level that shows a shot of the other side. ;)
