I know this has been asked many times but MyIS is entertaining the thought of contracting Kevin lockett to make the www.blackbagops.com (http://www.blackbagops.com) for BF2 ....

I would definately donate.. this was a very useful application used by most of the DC servers in BF1942. It was a top quality program and I would definately like to see it back!

it was a great, simple, and most of all functioning tool to administer servers for BF42... anyone who runs a server or hosting should be beating down the door to have it back.

I would definitely pay for something from BBO. Only problem seems to be EA/Dice who are giving BBO the cold shoulder. If enough people rallied behind BBO, I'm pretty sure EA might reconsider. But I am referring to popular server owners/managers and people from accredited and well respected sources like this site and others that support the BF2 gaming community, not average Joe types.

Like noobie said DICE is the one holding BBO back now. I do believe privatly funded ranked servers are not limited to use BF2CC like the public servers are. I do still a possibility of a BF2SM in the future, but its going to take alot of support from the clans and communities that have ranked servers and want some choices in their server managers.

Ive done my research and the only remote manager out there that has all the capibilites that is needed is BF2CC(there are some very nice RCON only RMs out there but their functions are limited), and personally I think its wrong that we are forced to use it and not have options aviliable to us. We are the ones paying for these servers why cant we have choices on what programs we want to use to manage it. As long as the server stays within its parameter I dont see much of a issue here, and I do beleive if a BF2SM was to be released the privatly funded ranked servers will be allowed to use it.

Issue here is not with BBO, its with DICE. They need to be convinced that there is enough people out there who want to use BBO and are willing to pay for it if it ever comes out(unless you can REALLY, REALLY, convince BBO to do it anyways lol). Its our job now to make our voices heard, spread the word, and really, REALLY, make a push for a BF2SM. The ball is in your hands, what will you do with it?
