Video Setting Explanation??

Does anyone know what some of the video settings do that aren't the obvious ones? I just want to know what I'm turning down when I lower geometry, and some of the other effects. Anyone have any ideas what these other ones are?

i dunno what the hell geometry actually is, except that even on a 5000 dollar computer it STILL stops loading at 62% (well pauses, obviously it finishes loading the map)

also, just for the record, it DOES take about 10 seconds at the least for a 5000 super computer to load highest everything settings, so those people who are on the map seemingly hours before you load it are likely people with settings set to low with computers that can run medium or high.

just for your information heh. i was at a friends house who had this supercomputer, and i expected super audio visual, much better than i have on my pretty good comp projector setup.


the audio from his 7.1 xfi blew me away, but the visuals looked exactly the same and l
