for the tips and tricks section, you should add a thankyou button for the person who started teh thread and posted the tip. that way, you can save room in the thread which can be used to ask questions

That would be a good idea in concept, but the only problem is this. Do you think anyone would actually use it? IMO maybe only a few people woul use it,eiher because people are lazy(no offense but we know it is true) or people just wouldnt care to click it.

Why not just rate the thread? Top right, click rate thread and choose one of the ratings from terrible to excellent.

i just got this idea from modthesims2.com
when someone created an obejct or something for the sims 2, he would post it (its like a forum) and then ppl could click on the thank you button..
that way, if the idea is really good, u wont have 2 pages of just thankyous and then maybe somewhere in the 3rd page, theres a question and since no ever spends the time to read more than the first page, itll just go unanswered (most of the time)
